Candle making and Business skills

NDIS Participants can learn how to make decorative candles that look like realistic cakes and sweets, then learn the skills to sell them!

Coachin' Candles is a place for your loved one to learn the ins and outs of unique candle making, as well as business skills to share their creativity with the community.

Each week, classes will include a guided lesson on making different and unique candles and/or wax melts.

Once everyone is comfortable and confident, we will begin learning to produce and sell our creations.

We are here to help, so all abilities are welcome!

Monday

Class 1: 9:00am - 11:30am

Class 2: 12:00pm - 2:30pm

Class 3: 3:00pm - 5:30pm

Tuesday

Class 1: 12:00pm - 2:30pm

BILLING

Cost per class: $150

OUR GOALS

We focus on aiding participants in reaching a variety of social, behavioural, emotional and educational goals while having fun in a relaxing environment.

Our classes are specifically designed to build a range of skills including:

* relaxation

* fine motor skills

* social communication

* language comprehension

* increased self-confidence

* community participation

* direction following

* independence

THINGS TO NOTE

Our classes include the use of hot was and equipment. PPE will be provided as well as help and direction by the teacher, however, total supervision can not be guaranteed. Therefore, carers are encouraged if you believe your loved one may need extra support or supervision in our classes.
